FirstOntario recognizes that being a student generally means that your finances are limited. Students - age 13-21 - can take advantage of a few offers to make life more affordable.

#1: Basic Banking Needs

Students can use a HeadStart^® Chequing Account and a HeadStart^® Savings Account to cover basic banking needs. Each comes with a number of free debits per month.

	No account service charges with a minimum balance of $1,000
Age	13 to 21 years
Interest Paid	Minimum monthly balance, paid monthly
Account Service Charges	First 25 FREE per month then $.50 per item or pay no account service charges with a minimum monthly balance of $1,000.00
In-branch Bill Payment Handling Fee	$1.25
Interac ATM charges	$1.45

HeadStart® Savings
	No account service charges with a minimum balance of $1,000
Age	13 to 21 years
Interest Paid	1/4% Bonus* Daily closing balance, paid monthly
Account Service Charges	First 5 FREE per month then $.75 per item or, pay no account service charges with a minimum monthly balance of $1,000.00
In-branch Bill Payment Handling Fee	$1.25
Interac ATM charges	$1.45

Your banking needs may be more complex. FirstOntario Students can purchase any FirstOntario Account Package Plan at 50% off the regular price.
